Collection: Turkish Delight

Real lokum is soft, faintly floral and dusted rather than sugared, and it is meant to be eaten slowly with strong coffee. It is a different thing entirely from the gelatine sweets sold under the same name.

Galil makes ours in Istanbul. The traditional 16 oz box is the everyday one, the pistachio at 250 g is the classic single-nut version where the flavour carries the whole piece, and the 100 g assortment is for trying several before committing. Alongside them, Bulgarian lokum from Zaharni Zavodi — Bulgaria has its own long tradition of the sweet — and Uğurlu fruit-flavoured delight in a 350 g box.

Lokum is vegan, contains no dairy, and keeps for months unopened. Everything on this page is shelf-stable and ships anywhere in the United States. Nut varieties carry allergens; the individual product pages list them.
