A premium Russian dark chocolate bar from the celebrated Babaevsky confectionery in Moscow, featuring dark chocolate studded with crushed hazelnuts and almonds. A multiple award-winning confection with a deep cocoa flavor and a satisfying nut-forward profile, Vdokhnovenie --- meaning Inspiration --- has been a staple of Russian chocolate culture since 1976.

Ingredients

Cocoa mass, sugar, crushed hazelnut kernel 14.9%, cocoa butter, butterfat (animal origin) 2.6%, crushed almond kernel 0.7%, emulsifiers: soya lecithin E322 (less than 1%), polyglycerol polyricinoleate E476; cognac 0.3% (cognac spirits, sugar syrup, colour: caramel E150a, water), vanilla flavouring. Cocoa solids 52.6%.

Please note: this is sold as a dark chocolate but almost 15% of the bar is crushed hazelnut, and it contains butterfat, so it is not dairy-free.

Calcium 23 mg, iron 2 mg (11% DV), potassium 150 mg.

Contains cognac — 0.3% of the bar, as a flavouring. Worth knowing if you avoid alcohol. Made by the Babaevsky confectionery works in Moscow, to a recipe produced since 1976, at 52.6% cocoa. A serving carries 11% of a day's iron. Store between 15 and 21 °C, out of direct sunlight.
