Schaller & Weber Teawurst, 7 oz

Brick-red casing, 7 oz chub. Teawurst is a soft, finely-ground raw cured pork sausage made to be spread rather than sliced — the texture of a coarse pâté. This one is flavoured with paprika and hickory smoke, which gives it a russet colour and a distinctly smoky, gently sweet character.

It is the only spreadable raw sausage in the range and it does a job nothing else on the shelf does — thick on dark rye or pumpernickel, which is exactly what your Delba and Mestemacher breads are for. Softer and more approachable than a hard salami, richer and smokier than the Gelbwurst.
