Gingerbread figures — the little people, pigs and goats Swedish children build and decorate through December.
These come plain and undecorated on purpose. In Sweden the icing is the activity, not the product, and a decorated figure from a box misses the point entirely. Give them to a household with children and a tube of icing.
Thin and crisp like all Nyåkers baking, so they snap rather than bend. Keep them dry.
Made to European food rules on additives and labelling.
