Nidar Jule-Marsipan Christmas Marzipan in Milk Chocolate, 5.3 oz (150g)

Marzipan — 75% of the bag — under a thin milk chocolate coat, made to a Nidar recipe from 1915.

Norwegian Christmas marzipan is softer and moister than the German kind, and the almond content is high enough at 37% that it tastes of nut rather than sugar. Nidar say the recipe has not changed, and julemarsipan has been part of a Norwegian Christmas long enough that most households simply expect it.

Small pieces, meant for a bowl on the table through December rather than for cutting.
