Bertha's Christmas Rum Bullets, 6.2 oz (175g)

Rum truffle balls rolled in chocolate — romkuler, a fixture of the Norwegian Christmas sweet plate.

They are made from cake and biscuit crumb bound with cocoa and rum flavouring, which gives a dense, slightly fudgy middle rather than a smooth ganache. Sweet and strongly flavoured, so one or two is the serving.
