Szilva lekvár — Hungarian plum butter, cooked down for hours until the fruit goes almost black and thick enough to stand a spoon in. The filling for szilvás gombóc, for palacsinta, and for kifli.

No added sugar at all — the panel reads 0g added, so every gram of the sweetness is the plums themselves, concentrated. That is what makes it taste of fruit rather than of jam.
