Hungarian egg pasta in the two shapes every Hungarian kitchen keeps: csiga, the little rolled shells, and tarhonya, the toasted barley-shaped grains.

Csiga goes into clear soup — it is the pasta in a proper húsleves. Tarhonya is fried in fat with paprika and onion and served alongside meat, more like a grain than a pasta.
