Thick apricot preserve from Israel, cooked so the fruit stays in pieces rather than breaking down into a smooth jam. Sweet, slightly tart, and a good deal less sugary on the tongue than the numbers suggest.

No food colouring. Half-kilo tub with a resealable lid — the practical size if you bake with it or eat it by the spoonful with tea, in the way it is meant to be eaten.
