A bright red fruit infusion — rosehip and hibiscus for the tartness, cherry for the sweetness. No tea leaf in it at all, so no caffeine: this is the one for the evening.

Hibiscus is what makes the cup that deep ruby colour, and it is sharp on its own. The cherry rounds it off. Ahmad recommend a full five minutes — fruit infusions need longer than tea to give up their flavour, and under-brewing is why people think they taste of nothing.

Each bag is foil-wrapped, which is why a box that has stood on a shelf still smells of cherry when you open it. Good hot, and very good iced.
