Lighter than breakfast tea, with a touch of bergamot through it. An afternoon tea is built to be drunk at three o'clock without flattening you, and that is what this is: less tannin, less weight, a faint Earl Grey perfume rather than a full one.

This box is pure Ceylon and packed in Sri Lanka, not in the Emirates like most of the range — licence TC/E/PR/1007/478 is printed on the back. Single origin, which is unusual at this price.
