Harnas is a full-bodied Polish pale lager brewed at 5.8% ABV and named after the legendary mountain outlaws of the Tatra region. Bold and unapologetically full-flavored, it pours a clear golden amber with a clean, malty backbone and a mild hop bitterness that lingers pleasantly on the finish. It is one of Poland's most popular export beers. Must be 21 or older to purchase.
Silver 500 ml can with a bold woodcut-style portrait of a Tatra highlander — feathered hat, long hair, embroidered jacket — set against snowy peaks. Red and navy banner wordmark. Strong, direct, mountain-brigand imagery; one of the more striking cans on the shelf.
A full-strength pale lager at 5.8% — the strongest of the Polish and German beers here and second only to the two Ukrainian Obolons. "Full pale" points at a fuller-bodied, maltier lager rather than a light one. The Harnaś artwork has a lot of character and tends to sell itself on the shelf.
