Berliner Geschichte is a classic German lager brewed according to the Deutsches Reinheitsgebot in Berlin, a city with a brewing heritage dating back to 1287. Light-bodied and crisp, it pours a pale straw gold with a clean malt sweetness, gentle hop character, and a refreshing, dry finish. Must be 21 or older to purchase.

Pale sky-blue can with an ornate gold and red medallion — the Berlin bear on a crest, the Berliner Dom rendered in gold beneath it, and "SEIT 1237" arched across the top, the year Berlin itself was founded. Very much a Berlin heritage product; the branding sells the city as much as the beer.

A Berlin lager built entirely around the city's history — the bear, the cathedral, the 1237 founding date. Brewed to the Reinheitsgebot, the 1516 German purity law, so water, barley, hops and yeast and nothing else. For a customer buying German beer as much for the story as the taste, this is the most Berlin thing on the shelf.
