Baked fresh in our shop every morning. This loaf comes to us from Germany part-baked ā taken out of the oven halfway, while the middle is still raw, and frozen straight away. The last twenty minutes of its bake happen here, at six in the morning, so the bread on the shelf was finished today.
Our best-selling loaf. Deeply scored, well-fired, close-grained ā a proper German Bauernbrot that keeps for days and only gets better on the second morning.
You can buy it either way:
- Freshly baked ā crisp crust, still warm if you come early.
- Still frozen ā take it home and finish it in your own oven whenever you want it. No proving, no bread machine, no skill required: straight from the freezer into a normal oven.
