Zentis Marzipan Potatoes, 3.5 oz (100g)

Marzipankartoffeln — balls of marzipan rolled in cocoa powder so they look like small new potatoes, dusty and irregular.

The joke is old and German households buy them every Christmas anyway. At 26% almonds the marzipan is proper rather than token, and the cocoa dusting is unsweetened, so it cuts the sugar rather than adding to it.

They come loose in the bag. Put them in a bowl and the resemblance does the rest.
