Solo is the Norwegian orange soda, made since 1934 and outselling the international brands on its home ground.
It is less sweet and more genuinely citrus than most orange sodas, with a slight bitterness from the peel that the American kind does not have. Norwegians drink it cold with hot dogs and at every school fête.
