Loose-leaf Ceylon green tea, OPA grade — large twisted leaf, pale in the cup, grassy rather than smoky. Ceylon green is less common than Ceylon black and sits somewhere between a Chinese green and a light oolong.

Brewing

One tablespoon (about 2 g) per pot. Green tea does not want boiling water — let the kettle stand a minute or two first, then steep three to five minutes. Boiling water makes it bitter.

Keeping it

Cool and dry, and airtight once opened.
