Potato gnocchi with a filling of Asiago and porcini — the mushroom is real Boletus edulis, backed up with a concentrated porcini extract, which is why the flavour carries further than 3% of the recipe suggests. The box notes that authorization to use the Asiago name was granted by the Protection Consortium.

Cooking

Tip them straight from the box into a pan over medium-high heat with your sauce and half a cup of water (3.4 fl oz). Stir gently for about three minutes. No pot, no draining. A knob of butter and a little black pepper is enough — the filling is doing the work.
