Twelve Schaumküsse to a box — a dome of whipped egg-white foam on a thin wafer base, jacketed in chocolate.

They are far lighter than they look. The foam collapses the moment you bite, which is the whole pleasure of them and the reason German children eat them by the box. The wafer is there to hold the thing, not to add anything.

Keep them somewhere cool and do not stack anything on the box — the domes crush easily.
