German Coffee Mug — "Guten Morgen", 12 oz

A beer stein that gave up drinking. Same squat stoneware shape and chunky handle as a Bavarian Krug, shrunk to a 12 oz coffee mug — a rooster crowing at a rising sun, "Guten Morgen!" in blue, and a little painted village along the top. On the back, a cup of coffee with the steam coming off it. It is a joke that works at seven in the morning, which is the hardest time to make one work.

Materials

Stoneware. The supplier states it is both microwave safe and dishwasher safe — unusual for a decorated mug, and worth knowing before you buy one for somebody who will not hand-wash anything.
