Carstens Finest Marzipan Rounds with Plum Madeira Filling, 7.4 oz (210g)

Seven pieces of rum marzipan with plum in Madeira, under dark chocolate — at 44% cocoa, the darkest of the three and the only one that is not milk chocolate.

The Madeira gives a depth the fruit alone would not have, closer to a Christmas pudding than to a sweet. Ginger, clove and cinnamon are in there too. It is the one people go back to after they have tried the others, and the one least likely to interest children.

Contains alcohol. Made with Madeira wine and Jamaica rum.

Serve cold, with coffee or a small glass of something.
