The marzipan is 40% of the piece and the cherry 27%, so this is mostly fruit and almond rather than chocolate. Real sour cherry is what makes it work — it keeps a sharpness that cuts the almond, where a sweet cherry would just add sugar.

Contains alcohol. The marzipan is made with Jamaica rum.
