🚚 Frozen loaves ship anywhere in California
Choose “Frozen” at checkout and we post it anywhere in California. If it softens on the way that is not a problem — refreeze it, or finish it in your oven that day.
Choose “Freshly baked” and it is collection in store or local delivery only — 2790 Santa Rosa Avenue, Santa Rosa, and around Sonoma County. We do not post baked bread, because it would not reach you fresh.
We do not ship outside California yet.
Baked fresh in our shop every morning. This loaf comes to us from Germany part-baked — taken out of the oven halfway, while the middle is still raw, and frozen straight away. The last twenty minutes of its bake happen here, at six in the morning, so the bread on the shelf was finished today.
Wheat and rye together — lighter than a pure rye, with more backbone than a plain white. The middle ground, and the loaf most people end up buying twice.
You can buy it either way:
- Freshly baked — crisp crust, still warm if you come early.
- Still frozen — take it home and finish it in your own oven whenever you want it. No proving, no bread machine, no skill required: straight from the freezer into a normal oven.
