Ptasie Mleczko means "bird's milk" — a Polish way of saying something so good it cannot exist. Wedel have been making it in Warsaw since the 1930s and it is the one confection every Pole recognises on sight: a light, barely-set soufflé that is nothing like a Western marshmallow, under a thin shell of chocolate. This is the śmietankowe — cream — version, and unlike the lemon and the blueberry it is cased in MILK chocolate rather than dark, which makes it the gentlest box in the range. A limited edition for Wedel's 170th year.

Use and care
