Petersburgskiy Konditer Zefir with Crushed Pistachios in Chocolate Glaze, 7.23 oz (205g)

Zefir is not a marshmallow, whatever the box says in English. It is whipped apple purée set with pectin and egg white — lighter, slightly tart, and it melts rather than chews. This one is dipped in confectionery glaze and finished with roasted crushed pistachios.

A St Petersburg speciality and a standing fixture of a Russian tea table. Serve it with black tea, not coffee.
