Ahmad's own house blend, and the box the company is known by. Black tea with a light bergamot — far lighter than their Earl Grey, so the citrus sits behind the tea instead of in front of it.

The front calls it a balanced tea for any time of the day, and that is the honest description: strong enough for the morning, not so strong it keeps you up. Great Taste award, 2022.

If someone finds Earl Grey too perfumed and breakfast tea too blunt, this is the one to hand them.

Ingredients: black tea, bergamot flavouring.

To make it: 3 to 5 minutes.
