Ahmad Tea Energy Herbal Supplement with Grapefruit, Mate & Guarana, 20 Tea Bags

Grapefruit, green mate and guarana seed, with vitamin B6. The three things on the front are the three things that make it taste like nothing else on the shelf: mate is grassy and slightly bitter, guarana is earthy, and the grapefruit peel cuts across both.

The box is marked caffeine-free, which surprises people who know guarana and mate — Ahmad are using them for flavour, not for a lift. The lift claimed on the box is the vitamin B6.

The box states: "Vitamin B6 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue."

Ingredients: lemongrass 26.5%, lemon verbena leaves, peppermint 15%, honeybush 12%, green mate leaves 12%, guarana seed 6%, cinnamon bark, liquorice root, flavouring 3%, grapefruit peel 1%, vitamin B6 1%, manganese citrate 1%, marigold flower.

To make it: one bag in 200 ml (7 fl oz) of hot water for 5 minutes.

Supplement Facts: serving size 1 tea bag. Proprietary herb blend 1.5 g. Vitamin B6 0.3 mg (15% DV), manganese 0.4 mg (16% DV).
