Zungenwurst Tongue Bologna

Zungenwurst, also known as tongue bologna, is a type of German sausage made from pork tongue, bacon, and spices. Here is a simple recipe for cooking Zungenwurst:
Ingredients:
  • 1 Zungenwurst sausage
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the Zungenwurst sausage to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Gradually stir in the beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add the mustard and season with salt and pepper to taste.
